(Before It's News)

By Susan Duclos

Via an email forwarded to me, a man in Mexico is having problems at the HSBC ATM, a resource he uses quite frequently, and together with the recent disturbing news coming out about HSBC restricting cash withdrawals and Llyods ATMs recently in the news with claims they stopped working (something they claim has been fixed now), along with concerns of a second major banking crash coming, this recent problem with the emailer’s ATM has him worried.

Hi [Name Redacted]:

I thought that you might like to know that the HSBC ATM machines were not working this morning in my town in Mexico. I’ve been using them almost daily for several months without a hitch. It’s hard to believe that this is a coincidence considering what is going on right now…

Thanks for all that you do.

Looking at the Down Detector for HSBC, there was an outage at 13:00 and the comment and Tweet comment section is full of a variety of complaints and dire concerns.

A screen shot of the comment section shows in a few cases the business site is down and in one a personal site. (Shown below)

A look at the more recent tweets shows the spate of deaths among banking employees, along with the outages and ATM problems, are causing major concern for some of the HSBC customers, who like many of us, think there could be a major bank crash coming up on us fast.
